This compilation dedicated to Lana Del Rey -- mostly songs from "Ultraviolence" -- took a whole year to finish with phases of stronger activity, just like most of my more recent work. This also involves MichMash (FR) & MsMiep (NZ) who produced 4 mashups each, it's been a true collaboration between us three.
Within the last weeks, this project got from a dozen of decent tracks and 3/4 bonus track to 17 mashups + 9 bonus tracks (outtakes I could neither include nor ignore, like the Eagles or Mercury Rev ones, and older mashups of mine with Lana songs I ended up including). And yet, all three of us have a few other demos that didn't make the cut.
Anyway, I hope you will enjoy this extensive collection as much as we enjoyed doing it.
